The EZ-Base-2 is a high power full featured outdoor 250mW wireless Access Point or Client Bridge/Router system operating in the 2.4GHz unlicensed frequency spectrum. It complies with the 802.11b and g standards to insure interoperability. The EZ-Base has an integrated 15 hour battery backup so it can continue to operate without grid power. The battery also filters the grid power making the EZ-Base immune to voltage spikes, surges, brownouts and blackouts. The EZ-Base is housed in a weatherproof die cast aluminum enclosure for operation in the harshest environments. It includes a removeable TriBand outdoor omni antenna for operation up to about 1/2 mile. The system is capable of up to 20 miles when using a higher gain antenna. The standard integrated N female connector can be connected to any 50ohm 2.4GHz antenna.

With its advanced software, the EZ-Base supports multiple operating modes, including; Client Bridge, Client Router, Access Point Router, Access Point + WDS and Point to Point. It also supports a repeater function. WPA (AES) security provides best of class wireless security.

The EZ-Base comes complete with a shielded Cat5e rated POE (Power Over Ethernet) power inserter and 24VDC 60W auto-ranging (120/240VAC) power supply. The corrosion resistant bracket system accommodates pole or wall mounting. There is also an included TriBand Outdoor Omnidirectional Antenna.
